Strength Activity Rep Count issues?

I have some issues regarding the rep count in the strength Activity in SW 4.40. In previous SW versions, my 945 was able to detect the exercise I was doing I.e pull ups and push ups close to 100% of the time . While the reps detected weren't 100% accurate, they were still quite close to the mark. But now, with SW 4.4, the exercise and rep count detection are quite bad. Most of the time, the watch couldn't even detect the exercise I was doing and the rep counts can be non existent. I had on few occasions, observed 0 reps for even a set of pull ups or push ups. On other occasions, I observed a certain number of reps recorded on my watch but upon completing the set and just before I press the lap button, the rep count actually decreased. For example, the watch could be recording 8 pull ups but when I finished the set, the number dropped to 2. I am wondering, is this a software issue or is something wrong with my watch? I noticed the change log for SW4.4 stated improved rep count but I feel that it has become even worse. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I know it's a minor gripe and the reps can't be easily edited but it's quite annoying that the detection has become so poor.

On a separate issue, I noticed that while doing strength exercise and walking in between sets, the HR can be artificially high. My HR can be in the range of 160 and higher just by walking! The HR could remain so high even walking for 5 min or more. A simple wrist check determined my heart rate to be no more than 120 and I didn't exert that hard during my exercise as well. Could this be a combination of the wrist hr technology limitation and the increased blood flow during exercise or is it a watch issue?
