Pace/distance glitch during intervals with Stryd

A couple of days ago I ran a short interval training - 12x {1min + 2min recovery}. The paces were roughly 3:15 for the intervals and 4:45 for the recovery. I look at the "Lap pace" metric (average pace for the current lap).

I've noticed something very strange during the recovery steps - for the first 90m, lap pace would be about 5:00-5:05, which could be plausible (I don't normally give much importance to lap pace in the first 100m of a lap anway). At exactly 90m, lap pace would drop to 3:55-4:05 at once and then rise ever so slowly to converge to about 4:45 at the end of the 2 minute period.

I've never seen this behaviour during intervals before. I'm more or less as pace-obsessive as it gets, so I'm wondering if this is a new glitch? I realise this could also be an issue with Stryd but they haven't updated the firmware in months. The only time I've seen these kind of jumps in reported lap pace were at the very first meters of a run (100m or so).

Anyone else with a Stryd encounter this?
