Good earbuds for FR945

Hello everyone

I am looking for some good buddies for my FR945 and I am OVERWHELMED!!!!

What I think the main charactericts should be:

- true wireless (no cables at all)

- Very solid water resistance rating (> IPX7)

- Should also work with my android phone and very good mic quality (ie the other part of the call should hear me very well)

- preferably no touch buttons (do buttons always work when paired to fr945?)

- the part out of the ear should not be too big

- price could also go high (but let s shoot for below 200/250 USD no more pls!!) but only if it s really worth it

Fyi, after I would say a combined 10/15 hours of research I am thinking of JayBird Vista. But am very happy to hear your opinions.

Thanks a lot!!

  • I had the same issues with Jabra Elite 65 model no matter if connected to the watches or a phone. Audio cuts, stuttering, etc. I'm happy with Aeropex and BTS Pro from 66Audio.

  • I have the Vista and for the FR945 they work great, once connected they don't lose the connection and they don't fall out your ears.

But  call quality is good only in quite environment, outside if there is noise they are not ideal, because other people hear too much external noise.

The real problem with the Vista is that they are not very good on switching connection between devices , sometimes they switch easy, sometimes not. I'm thinking of using them just for running and sport.

They don't have "hear through", so if you use them a lot, it will happen that you have to put them off frequently from the ears.

In my opinion, the Vista  are great for sport, if you want to use them also in the office or at home, maybe there are better options.

  • I've tried with Galaxy Buds and had excessive dropouts. Tried on both wrists with no improvement. Could be the watch, though.  I have a new one and have not tried any other earbuds with it.
