Change from Forerunner 935 to 945 with keeping the settings, screens and so on..

Hi all,

actual I use a forerunner 935 and ordered a 945. What is the easiest way to transfer all the settings, screens etc. from 935 to 945?

I hate all the configurations steps to have a new device in the same configuration as the predecessor is/was.

Don’t. You’ll cause more problems that it’s worth. The watches are similar but not the identical. It’s always worth taking the time to set up a new watch anyway. That way you get to explore the menus and see the differences.

What Garmin fail to mention here is that this will only work when moving between watches of the same type.

You are of course free to do this but please avoid posting that things are not working on your new 945 afterwards.
