Unable to save location

I'm wanting to save my current location. In the manual, it says

Saving Your Location

You can save your current location to navigate back to it later. NOTE: You can add options to the controls menu.
1. 1 HoldLIGHT.
2. 2 Select Save Location.
3. 3 Follow the on-screen instructions.

I presume I do this when I've started an activity that requires GPS, but when I long press Light, Location is not one of the options in the circle

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you changed the default Controls? In the default setting I am fairly certain Save Location is one of the options. If it's not there, you can - when the options in the circle appears - long press the middle button, under the Light button. Then the menu for configuring the options appear, and you should be able to add Save Location to the controls.

Those manual pages don't actually help with the Location topic, because Location is not mentioned as being a control you can add: "The controls menu contains options, such as turning on do not disturb mode, locking the keys, and turning the device off. You can also open the Garmin Pay wallet."

The manual should list all the options :-)
