Garmin Vivoactive 4 upgrade to 945

I currently have the Vivoactive 4 and thinking to upgrade to 945

i run/hike 4 times per week and mountain bike/cross train sometimes
I love the body battery and stress metric

more interested in the features and extra metric the 945 offers with recovery time and all the small statistics, I currently use DWmaps to upload gpx trails for hiking hoping 945 can do it natively.
feel free to chime in.

i can still exchange the Vivoactive 4 for the 945

  • I've got a Vivoactive 3, which I really like but wouldn't mind a few features it doesn't have, such as mapping, training metrics, body battery, longer battery life. What's holding me back is all the bad news on the 945's oHR and GPS (Fenix watches too). I mainly cycle with my V3, and its distance and spatial results are really good -- distance is off by less than a percent according to my OnePlus 7 phone (dual band GPS) and it tracks very well after about 250 metres into a ride or run. If you've made the switch, how are you finding the 945's accuracy?
