RHR file storage

Now, what I'd like to find is the "Recovery Heart Rate" recording.  You can get it on every workout if you want 2min post before you save, but I am not aware of that data being anywhere to view otherwise.

from my experience the Recovery Heart Rate value is only contained in the fit file created by your activity or workout

taken into account the 2 min before saving....

easy : setup a key combination to make a screenshot of your display : while showing the real Recovery HR value press the key combination

not easy : you could find Recovery HR by uploading your fit file here fit2tcx runalyze

• and search for 'event=21' or 'recovery'

= TYPE=6 NAME=event NUMBER=21
--- timestamp=940692578=2019-10-22T15:29:38Z
--- data=143=143
--- event=21=recovery_hr
--- event_type=3=marker

• 143 is the HR after the 2 min wait
• now you only need to find your last recorded HR during the activity
• and do the math

I assume you know how to read .fit files
