Is it possible to adjust sound and/or vibration for specific activity alerts only?

Hi all,

I'm using FR945 for most activities and I'm wondering if it is possible to adjusts sound and/or vibration for specific activity alterts only?

I know that in system settings you can adjust sounds in general but say I want to have cadence alerts when cycling without sound (as the semi-constant beeping is highly frowned upon in group rides) but I would want a time alert to have a sound to make sure I remember to drink at a certain interval.

The alert specific adjustments I cannot seem to find nor does internet seem to have an answer for me. It seems that it's all or nothing with this choice for alerts. Either the sound and/or vibration is on or then off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Agree with Philip - it's all or nothing. But using the vibration alert would mean you could get an alert without the rest of the bunch knowing.

Not really a solution watch-wise but most people ride with their phones. I have used alerts from the phone to let me know if anything needs to be done at a certain interval. It might work in your eat/drink scenario.

Ok, thanks for the consensus building confirmation. I was suspecting this was the case.

There are some alerts, I'd rather just muted but I guess, I'll just have to decide if having the one(s) I really don't want to miss will be worth vibrating/sounds for all alerts I want to have.
