Music freezing after pause (Spotify with aftershokz)

Has anyone experienced this? I usually connect the earphones and pause playback before leaving the house. Occasionally I'd find the music wouldn't restart when I came to start my run, either from the earphones or watch, which I can only solve by rebooting the watch. This has become a lot more regular since the last update, I was hoping it would get better with each update, not worse :-(

Yes, happens to me all the time. Fenix 6X, Galaxy Buds. Pause for a while to talk to somebody, then it freezes. No more music for the rest of the activity.

I've given up using pause because of this, it just can't be trusted. Disappointing because, as you'll know, these pieces of kit aren't cheap! You can get music back by selecting "resume later" and rebooting the watch but it's not exactly ideal.

I just spent a couple of hours trying to find a way to get the music restarted without rebooting, so if this freeze happens during an activity I can have music AND keep the activity. But, no luck. I guess if I pause my music I'll just have to make sure that I unpause it every minute or so to avoid the the freeze.
