Hydration widget syncing

When I try to open the Garmin Hydration Tracking widget on my FR945, is syncing until I open the Garmin Connect Mobile on my phone or I press the back button to cancel synchronization. This happens with the recent version (1.11.0) of Hydration widget, latest GCM version (4.29) latest FR945 firmware (4.40) but happend on FW 4.20 as well. The phone is on Android 10 and GCM has all the permissions it asked for and has battery saver switched off.

Does anyone experience the same behavior?

No one else has the synchronization screen for long time on the watch when opening the Hydration Tracking widget?

I had the issue initially, I removed the widget and reinstalled and then hard reset the watch (15secs on the power button)

It seems to be okay now.

I have a 245M that does the same thing. I think this forum and feedback forms are so difficult to use, most people won't even bother.

i don't have to open gcm but every entry with the widget is a pain. it takes around 4-6 secs until i can use the widget (only showing synching). no idea which update (firmware or widget) triggered this behavior. when i first installed the widget this "synching" screen never showed up.

Yes, and it's very annoying. The previous behavior of not syncing each time the widget was opened was a much better (and efficient) experience.

With the recent updates this long synchronization time has gone but sometimes, as I observe after auto sync to GCM post any activity the already recorded value is changed to a lower value.

Does anyone have have the same issue?

I have ticket opened at Garmin since March but they want me to record a video when the things go wrong. But it is happening in the background after I finish an activity (Run).
