I have to run some distances on treadmill and have few sensors to choose. Which to use on it for best accuracy?
Footpod
Running Pod
HRM-run
None or maybe combo?

I received my NPE RUNN a couple of weeks ago. Great hardware but lousy software so far! It does do great for pace/distance and even cadence on the treadmill (I'm not using it for zwift or any other app). BT and Ant+ so flexible. Issues: Their GymTrakr app is a mess. You need to open the app and connect (BT) initially or Cadence is not broadcast over Ant+ (irritating but not the end of the world). The pace field on the app is showing ... something - just not pace. My unit arrived with the incline calibration way way way off and the current calibration method calibrates both incline and treadmill speed together - I want the Runn because our treadmill is so inaccurate so do not want to calibrate the Runn to the treadmill. I talked with support (very fast response) and they are working on an updated app and a new calibration method to split the incline from the treadmill speed so I'm waiting. Despite the negatives, it gives me extremely accurate pace/speed on our old, inaccurate treadmill.
I got the Runn because of the same reasons: old inaccurate treadmills.
First:
There is a new NPE App called Configurez wich can update the RUNN software.
Broadcasting Cadence via ANT should now work without BT connection.
My incline is also way of. For calibration, its the same mess like yours. The best way is to connect a app like GymTrakr (it doesnt show pace, it shows speed!) to the RUNN, set your treadmill that RUNN shows 5 Miles per hour and than calibrate.
I also have a lot of Cadence drop-offs, you can set the sensitivity higher (have to do it, support told me how) and since the Firmware update two days ago mine seems bricked. I could not get it to transmit speed or show the indicator when a strip was passing by.
Their support is superb, im looking forward to Tuesday when easter holidays are at an end.
Thanks for the heads up on the new app - I didn't see anything on their website about it. Although it sounds like I'll wait to try it! Kinda goes with my feeling that they are great with hardware and data transfer - not so much with software and apps (but support is very good)! My cadence is good so I have not had to change sensitivity. I thought of the speed calibration method you mentioned but can't get any of the speed settings on the treadmill to be close enough to 5 so, in the end, as I really primarily want accurate pace/distance (and incline is a separate IQ data field in Garmin), I'll just wait to lets things settle before I try updating.
