Forerunner 945 Updates SW 4.40 is now live

These updates can be downloaded with Garmin Express or automatically through Garmin Connect Mobile (pending rollout).

Software version 4.40:

Improvements to GPS
Fixed training modes (workouts, intervals, set a target, etc.) in Virtual Running to allow connection to phone app
Changed filtering of activities for Race an Activity. List of activities is now narrowed to those within the same general sport type.
Fixed missing auto-run setting in Ski
Improvements to rep-counting
Improvements to floor-climb when the user is jogging up/down stairs
Added SkiSkate profile
Added BackCountry Ski profile
Improvements to music playback/sync/providers
Improvements/fixes to payments
Made several improvements to Breathwork
Made several WiFi related improvements
Fixed an issue where the device would always display the 'Updating' spinner when changing an alarm
Various other fixes and improvements

Guys, v4.40 is the latest stable version for the RoW 945. For APAC the latest is v4.60 (not sure what's the difference as I haven't seen the change log for it and this forum only deals with the RoW software).

The lastest beta for RoW is v4.41. I never saw any info on beta for APAC versions.

Sorry I know this is the firmware forum.

Where can I feedback about the Garmin connect app?

I just got the FR945. I have the FR45.

For FR45, inside Garmin Connect there is Activity Options -> Running (below Audio Prompts) option. You can set an alert based on heart rate or pace from the mobile app.

Why is there no such option in FR945? I need to go into the watch to set the alerts.

I habe the same issue for the last 2 weeks. Not so amused. Measured 160 but by counting manually only 90 bpm. This is mostly in the morning when i take off my watch in the bathroom and then put it on again. Only restart helps - nearly every second day.
