I just plugged my watch into my computer and updated the maps. I did the same a couple months ago. In between I didn't check to see if there were any updates.
The question is about how often does Garmin update their maps for the watch?
Yes, I know about downloading free maps from other sources. I'm just curious how often Garmin updates their maps.
On second thought, I've been making corrections to Open Source Maps when I find mistakes -- I'm trying to compete 100% of Deland on City Strides -- so perhaps I should switch over to the free maps after I've completed the city. But in the meantime, I'm still curious as to Garmin's update schedule.
