3 months ago I bought a forerunner 945 but since then its gps has been slowly deteriorating. It does not get ready when any sport gets activated, it turns green roughly 5 mins after a sport activation, but even then the gps is still far from being precise (i use GPS + Glonass) - works with delay and shows a different or incomplete path from the actual one. I sync the watch with my phone on daily basis and i keep it connected all the time. I had 935 and had no such issue for 2 years, but then it also popped up as well. Reset & restart didn't fix the issue
