volume control on powerbeats pro doesnt work after last software update

I got my powerbeats pro in late August and they were working just great - advance, volume control etc. Now after last software update for the watch the volume control no longer works. I reset the earbuds, removed them and re-added them to the watch out of things to try any suggestions?

    I never paired my headphones with my iPhone. Not sure how you can check the firmware without doing that.

    Hurray - finally!!!!! Today this issue has been fixed for me. The Beats app on my phone notified me that firmware update 3A283 for my Powerbeats was ready for upload. After the update the volume controls now work with my Vivoactove 4 that is running firmware SW version 5.10. Best of luck all!

    Did this get fixed!? I'm considering getting powerbeats Pro and I have forerunner 645 music. Volume control is essential!
