Garmin IQ Watch Faces in Background

Does anyone happen to know if the IQ watch faces (like Gearmin, Actiface, etc.) that aren't being used, but loaded on the watch, are using battery power or slowing the watch down while running in the background, or is only the the face currently being used consuming battery power?

It SHOULD only be the active face drawing power. However...

Only the active watch face runs. Other's installed use no battery at all.

Monitor the battery consumption.

Remove the suspect watch faces.

Re-monitor the battery consumption.

There was a bug a while back where if a watch face had a background process, that back ground could run even if it wasn't the active watchface, but that was a while ago and should be fixed and only on the fenix 6 if I recall.

And neither Actiface nor Gearmin even have a background process (you can tell by the permissions displayed in the app store)
