Hi
How many ANT+ devices can we simultaneously connect?
I have Garmin TRM-Run, Garmin Tempe, Stryd and now that I have added the two RunScribe pods it looks like Stryd is not visible anymore.
Any ideas/comments?
Thanks and best regards,
José

try the runscribe light app if it's really necessary for you to record the data from the runscribe pods as well (but i haven't tested it, it's just a wild guess); after a few months i ended up uninstalling it, as the data displayed in garmin connect is pretty much meaningless (and you get the power from the stryd anyway). runscribe dashboard representation is far more better and suitable for the data from the pods ;-)
I think it was in the order of 20 ANT+ connections. On my bike I am running a speed sensor, chest HR, power meter and Varia radar no problems.
When it comes to multiple sensors of the same type, it can include them on the list of paired sensors (eg. I have an HRM-Tri and HRM-SWM), but it can only accept data from 1 sensor of a particular type at a time.
Funny you ask... I've recently been having problems but it seems down to the order I turn on or activate sensors. I have a PowerCal HR/Power strap, a VIRB 360, Varia rear radar, Tempe, Garmin speed and cheap generic cadence sensor. So 6 sensors plus BT headphones.
It started with the Tempe not connecting often and the more I thought about it I realised this is because it only broadcasts something like once a minute (or 30 seconds, not sure) and so is, on average, the last things to be seen.
I then started searching for the tempe first by not touching anything else - except HRM strap - and then the VIRB and then the others. Sometimes the speed sensor doesn't connect, other times they all do.
The only new thing is the generic cadence sensor, and I am wondering if this is playing fast and loose with the ANT radio. I will be removing it soon to see what happens next week...
