Hello hive mind, had a quick search but couldn't find a related topic. I've been using plotaroute and Gimporter, it's seems to be a great combination but am having problems with navigating some courses in run activity, the map is either blank, or just says calculating continuously without starting. Is there anything obvious that I am missing. They do work in the navigation activity. TIA

The calculating is because you have 'use map' mode. Then your watch behaves like a car GPS and calculates best route all the way on your course.

Probably because you have done a route at plotaroute, you already know the best way and then you can use 'follow course' mode.

Goto menu on your preferred app (for instance Run). Run settings-> Routing-> Courses-> Follow course.

Maybe map is vlank because none is selected. For every app you are using, you need to activate a map that show your local area. Goto Run settings-> Map-> Configure maps-> Activate the maps you want.

Ah thank you very much, that might well be it, have changed setting to follow course and looks promising. will test next time I'm out. Thanks again.
