New Watch data transfer

I will be receiving my 945 today and I currently have a 245. Will my history stay in the Garmin Connect App from my 245 when I add the 945 and remove the 245?

Yes.

If you enable Physio True Up on both devices, then your training metrics (load, VO2Max, etc) will be transferred to the 945 as well.
