Anyone else seeing insanely long GPS acquisition times with 2.8? I've had this watch since November and have never seen it take so long. Done a couple runs now on 2.8, and each time, it's a solid two minutes before it picks up the satellites.
Sat fix speeds were worse at the beginning. They improved during development, not on the same level as the fr935, but on an acceptable level. Unfortunately this update worked again in the wrong direction. Please fix it. I am wondering whether Garmin performs regression tests before releasing such an update
It has long been recommended that after any update that you hard reset the watch - Press and hold top left through the Assistance Screen until the watch shuts down. Then, before first use, put the watch outside with a GPS activity selected for at least 15 minutes.
