Forerunner 945 & Jabra Elite Activa 75T

I just got my brand new Jabra Elite Actives 75T and try to pair them with the watch. I have followed all the instructions in the threads about troubleshooting when it comes to the 65T, taking the earbuds out of the box a million times, each time trying to connect, sometimes before taking them out of the box and sometimes after. I have unpaired the earbuds with all my other devices (phone, laptop) and have disabled bluetooth there, but it still does not work.

Has anybody experienced these issues, found the workaround Garmin provided didn't solve their problem and maybe found another solution? Thanks! Obviously I have tried to connect the earbuds both as headphones and as other sensors, nothing.

  • Sorry, I don't any hint for you. Just for info: I'm using Forerunner 945 & Jabra Elite Active 45e. I used them firstly with my phone (Samsung S9+). I installed Sound+ into phone and I updated firmware into Jabra. Later when I bought forefunner I paired it also with Forerunner 945 without problem.

I have the 75T and had no problem with my 945. While powered on, hold down the button on both left and right simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

Also, if still having issue do a hard reboot of watch (hold power for 14 seconds). I had trouble with my airpods once and that solved it.

If you get them paired I would be interested to know how reliable your connection is during an activity. Mine cutout constantly.

  • Considering getting the 75t's for running with my 945.  Which wrist do you wear your watch on?  I'm concerned about connection issues with my watch on my left wrist and a right master earbud.

  • No problems to pair them and never loose connection.
