FR945 cannot find Garmin Tempe ANT+ even is supported

FW 4.1

GPS 2.7

updated, restarted, still cannot find.

Tried to restart, keep the Tempe out of others BT, Wifi deives. Tried to turn off mobile connection, ..

I dont know what to try next

Any ideas ? On official web pages FR945 is between supported. Battery CR2032 3.11V so it looks OK. This batter has been distributed with the device.

Tried to pair while wearing as well as on the table..

Tried another battery, another locations to pair (avoid 2.4GHz interferencing) Nothing helepd.

Does anybody tried to pair Tempe ?

Wait longer. Tempe broadcasts only once a minute. sometimes the search even times out before it finds the Tempe.

If you want to use a Tempe, you need Tonne patient. Always

I did like 10 searches in a row, I understand that Tempe is transmitting once a minute to save energy.

Also search item dedicated for Tempe has bigger timeout in compare to other Sensors or generic "All sensors" search.

I just tried mine and it connected. It actually connected a little faster than normal, about 20-30 secs, Have you tried removing the tempe sensor and then pairing it again?

Are you sure that battery of the Tempe is charge? I have 3 Tempe sensor associated at my 945 and all work perfectly !!

Im not able to do an initial pairing, so I cannot remove it. Ic could not find Tempe at all.

I tried to put it out and back again -> no change Voltage over 3V.

So I tried another CR2032 new Sony also with voltage over 3V nothing changed. Polarity checked also....

Did you bend the contacts a little bit to the batterie?

Any chance you have a second watch (yours or a friend) and see if the Tempe is detected? Was it working OK on FW 4.0?
