I owned fenix 6, but it was very heavy and I was not happy with gps track and instant pace(way off). Im considering Forerunner 945? 945 have batter gps track and instant pace is more reliable for example in forest? Im not interested with footpod.

it's the same hardware - so performance-wise you'll get the same thing; i wonder though why you need better accuracy in the forest - when doing trails i'd rather pay attention for branches and stones,…
it is, but i think that garmin instant pace is a bit useless even in forerunner 935, my other watch with sony chip is much better and acurate... so i will stick with it
