How to manual update firmware into 945?.

I got Firmware name GUPDATE.GCD. I tried to save GUPDATE.GCD into directory \GARMIN in my 945. Power off and ON again.But the result is no work. Pls suggest the correct way to me.
My firmware is 3.3 . I think my 945 is APAC type because my updated FW=3.3 .(not 4.0). Now I am facing HR sensor is no lit (No work). I would like to try to change FW back to be 2.8.I would like to find the root cause of my problem is came from FW or Hardware. I bought 945 on Oct2019 ,Until Dec2019 I found problem about HR is no work. I think the root cause came from FW updated. Anybody found the same problem as me?.
We understand the frustration of not being on the same release schedule and this is something that we continue to work on. While we aren't there today, we are trying to close the gap on release dates for different versions of the same device.
My watch is still 3.3. I don't know if something is wrong with it until I read this forum. I'm getting close to return it if I don't find this forum and see that some people are still stuck in 3.3 as well.
It should be better if Garmin publishes release schedules for different regions, even a tentative one will be helpful. More information on how to check if a device is an APAC version should be available as well.
This is really not a good sign... I am planning on buying a Garmin device but all I see in all the forums of the devices I might be interested in is problems. Now I am asking myself if it is really worth while buying any of the Garmin devices?
People tend to post on here when they have problems. They don't come on here to list all the things that work as advertised. My guess would be that this applies to any user forum for any tech product from any brand.
