Battery drain is absurd (~2%/hr)

Since 3.90 SW update battery in smartwatch mode use has been reduced from 14 days to 2.

Recording a stationary activity w/o sensors or bluetooth took 26h, so battery is more or less ok (at least in a reasonable range, not 15% of expectation)
Watch is stuck in ~2%/hr drain.
Watch face is one of the factory installed without any seconds or HR info.
Phone is exactly the same since I had with my previous F5 (around 10 days battery), amount of notifications hasn't changed.

Have tried updating to 4.00 and also to 4.06 Beta.
Have tried hard reset, also a factory reset.
Have tried the "change music provider" workaround.

What else can I do?

Have you read the numerous other posts where this issue has been discussed? Why start another one and further dilute the responses?

I have described my problem, listed the things that I've tried and asked what else can I do.

Do you know of anything else that I could test?

The phone may not have changed barring any updates from the manufacture, but GCM has. What happens with your battery hourly rate if you turn off Bluetooth for a few hours?

1.747%/h for approximately 3 hours after a fresh recharge, phone connection disabled.

So I guess GCM is not at fault for the outrageous discharge rate?

Edit: bumped to 2.152%/h after 12h, overnight!
