Optical heart rate sensor

I noticed that with the new 945 the optical heart rate sensor is working even when I wear the heart rate monitor (correctly associated). With the old 935 when I had the belt the sensor was off. This is normal?

Also when you have the Garmin Wallet active (this is the way the watch verifies it hasn't been removed from your wrist).

I think this is normal when you have pulseox enabled.

I thought this too, but the light that lights up is green while the pulse oximetry is red. I think
