Activity data don't correspond to data on Garmin Connect Web

Hi all,

I'm having a strange problem that maybe someone else have seen before OR maybe have a solution for.

So I've logged several indoor cycle activities on my EDGE 830 and they have popped up on my 945. The problem is that neither distance or duration is correct. My 830 shows the same data that is showing on Garmin Connect Web, but my 945 do not want to show the same.

Anyone else seen this "feature"?

  • I have noticed that these activities were NOT logging in indoor mode, they was in GPS mode and the EDGE has somehow tracked distance in my basement. This doesn’t explain the not corresponding data though.

  • Do you have Physio True-Up enabled?

    Speed and distance are transmitted from many smart trainers. Have you paired the 830 to the trainer through the indoor training menu, rather than as a power meter through the sensor menu?

    And you should be recording these on the Edge through the Indoor Training profile. This should turn off GPS.
