Generally, the altitude reading on my 945 has been pretty accurate, but over the last few days I've been getting some strange readings of my altitude from within the Pulse Ox widget - which has co-insided with a spike in my Vo2 Max readings (which has jumped +3 in the last 2 days)
Around a week ago (Vo2 =45) - the readings were fairly consistent... (readings taken from Pulse Ox Acclimation on the Connect app)
Home (am) +50m
Work (am) +150m
Work (pm) +150m
Home (pm) +50m
Jan 2nd... (Vo2 = 47)
Home (am) +50m (normal)
Work (am) +150m (normal)
Work (pm) +30m (error)
Home (pm) 0m (error)
Jan 3rd... (Vo2 = 48)
Home (am) 0m (error)
Work (am) +50m (error)
Work (pm) +150m (normal)
I work in an office so all the readings "should" be the same, and there seems to be some kind of calibration gremlin at work.
Now, I know the elevations here are not huge - but the Pulse Ox widget on the watch is recording a consistent +1200m over the last few days, which co-incides with the jump in Vo2 Max. The app is using the same data set and is telling me different elevations to the watch.
On the watch - if I go to the altimeter widget - its currently reading a correct height of approx +150m, but the Pulse Ox widget is giving a reading thats at least 1km higher.
