FR945 issue connects to the Garmin Express on Windows 10

Connecting FR945 to windows 10 via USB cable

Connect the FR945 to the computer via USB cable, takes about 5 Sec. to get access to the device via “This PC”.

After windows shows the FR945 lunching Garmin Express, the software 1st freeze for about 5 minutes and then loads the main menu that allows selecting the device.

During the time that the Garmin Express software is running, the WMI provider Host service increase CPU power from 0.3% to 25% and more.

Reinstall the Garmin express did not solve this issue

Windows 10 fully updated and Garmin Express Ver. 6.19.4.0

I had this issue in the past. What I've done is turned off Express from automatically launching. I plug in watch, Win 10 detects it and then I manually open Express. It worked for me and you may want to give that a shot.

I do it the other way around. I always have Express open before I plug the watch in. Express takes almost the longest time to open when first launched on my PC, compared to the other programs I normally use daily.

I tried both ways

The Garmin connect takes forever to connect

The windows connect in a sec.

It just indicate that this is a software and not an hardware ussue...
