Strava Routes stopped working

With the recent Forerunner 945 updates my Strava route download stopped working. I can see from the watch all the available routes on Strava, the preview works as well, but clicking on Navigate Route to download the routes just leads to forever hanging Strava "Loading ..." page.

I did long watch reboot and reinstalled Strava Routes app but that did not resolve the issue.

Same everywhere, appearantly new FW broke some Connect IQ functionality... very annoying!!

on the "upside": I now realised that gpx import via the Connect app is possible . So my workaround at the moment:

- create the route whereever (strava, osmand...)

- export gpx

- import gpx in connect app or on connect homepage

- send to device

That means you cant do it in the middle of nowhere because you need internet reception but at least I dont need to use the garmin routing tool and in case of osmand I can do it all on the mobile (for strava routes you can download the route by using the webpage instead of the app... planing a strava route probably not so much fun)...
