Lower reading of heartbeat rate after sw 4.0 release

Could you show me which thread is talking about software update 4.0 and lower heatbeat rate?

philipshambrook is probably meaning the multiple Fenix 6 threads on this topic. But as he typically states there is no sense in posting to threads as Garmin does or does not read this forum. Let alone fix the problems that are mentioned here or in the Fenix 6 forum.

So best idea would be to open a ticket via mail, chat or phone. As another guy stated (and I have not checked on this), Garmin seems to be off for Christmas vacation. But opening a ticket should help.

I just called. They are open and are accepting calls. My wait time was between 7 and 10 minutes. Alternatively they will call you back.

You're assuming the problem lies specifically with v4.0. A casual search of the forum for heart rate issues on the 945 will show you that it is not...

I don't think I've said that anywhere at any time. What I do suggest is that problems are reported to Garmin Support once posted here. 

As you well now, but many people do not, this is a peer-to-peer forum. Garmin cannot and should not be relied upon to see posts here and respond.

I'm not assuming, coincidentally the fault occurred after updating the software version, before v4.0 the OHR of my 945 was working fine

I just called support, I had to apply a hard reset and I have to wait some days to see if the reading gets better, for now I did a test and the results remain lower

Steps 2&3 will follow: factory settings and then RMA. Might be that in the meantime the problem is fixed with a firmware update.
