Weather widget data is incorrect or inconsistent

I don't understand this information. Based on the below screenshot from weather widget, current weather is 37, min is 45, and max is 66. How is this possible? I never can trust the information I see in the weather widget.

Can anybody give me a better explanation? Are you seeing the same pattern?

I assume it's the fact that the weather forecast was wrong and it got colder than predicted.

I'd go with seilogramp explanation. I haven't noticed this happening a lot (but perhaps I don't look often enough?)

Somewhat related, does anyone know how frequently this gets updated? Or does it only get updated when I manually initiate a sync with my phone of the watch?

This appears to be a common problem. My temperature app is off by 10 degrees quite often. It would be great if people that have the problem would open a ticket with Garmin, when I did they said they hadn't heard of the issue.

Yes, and apparently there are a lot of threads/posts regarding temperature on the 945 and where the device is getting the data that is reported on the weather widget.

Mine is constantly off by 10s of degrees, wind speed pressure etc. I would think that the location is wrong but it says my location right in the middle. It couldn’t be more wrong..., consistently, every day. It’s crazy.

This is what I did a while ago to resolve the issue and so far I haven't had any issues.

Keep Garmin Connect app ALWAYS open in the background
Use bluetooth icon on the watch face to make sure that the watch is always connected to the phone. The icon disappears if you close the Garmin Connect app
Some watch faces use GPS to display weather data, if you go outside the city for activities and use GPS, the watch face may switch to another location's weather instead of your local area. Activate the GPS on the watch when you get back home.
