Find my phone - Force the sound with silent/vibrate mode

Hello,

Would it be possible to force the sound on the phone when it is in vibrate or silent mode, with the find my phone feature ?

I usually do not turn on the sound on my phone, as I rely on my watch to see the incoming calls or messages. So the find my phone feature is not of a great help because it does not make the phone ring.

I'm on iOS and mine sounds off despite my phone always being in vibration mode only.

It is an iPhone. I realize that it rings now. I gave all possible permissions. Yet, it rings at the volume the phone is set at. Meaning that if the volume is low, I may not hear it. The ideal would be to have this feature systematically use the volume max of the phone.

On Android it is loud always regardless the ringer volume set on the phone. Looks like on different OS there are different ways of working.

My own phone is a Samsung Note 8, with the appropriate permissions selected this is effective.

I think this is an Apple limitation. To be honest:

im glad it is possible to ring the phone in the set volume even if the mute switch is active.
Mine is also almost always muted, but I have the ringer volume turned up high.
