XCSki: pace vs speed

In XCSki activity I set up the 945's display to show pace and the 945's "History" data show pace. However, Garmin Connect on both my iPhone and online revert back to showing data on speed. I can't figure out how to fix that. Any ideas? Thanks.

Unfortunately I do not have a response to that. But I would like to add a question regarding XCSki, maybe it is related.

Previously on the 935 I had 2 apps for XCSki, one for free style and one for classic style. Now there is only one and it automaticaly becomes classic style. Is there an option to copy the app and change some predetermined items like pace/speed and which activity type it actually is? GC still offers both activity types for classic and free.
