Trouble connecting consistently with wireless Power Beats Pro earphones

Left earphone always connects.  Right earphone connects about 50% of the time on the first try.  Attempt to reconnect by turning watch off and on or putting the earpieces back in the case.  Make take several tries to get both working.

Anyone else have this issue?  Is there a fix I am not aware of?

Thanks, Danny

  • Had that issue intermittently, but seemed to sort it self out if I recased them forca bit.  Mine don’t connect at all anymore. Powerbeats Pro and Garmin 945. Noticed it a few weeks ago. No luck with re-pair.

  • I also have this connection problem. Putting the earpieces back in the case solves the problem temporarily.

Also the volume controls in the earpieces stopped working few weeks ago.

  • I'm having the same problem with my Apple Airpods. Sometimes it works like I charm, sometimes I have to put them back in the case for a couple of seconds and try again.

Did you find a solution to your problem yet? Was thinking of buying myself a pair of Power Beats Pro.

I have not found a permanent solution yet.  I am on my 4th pair of Power Beats Pro (thanks to Best Buy return policy and that issues occur in the first 90 days).  The solutions above appear to work for a period of time but like Vesa-n, I am having issues with the volume control on my current pair.  So far, this pair has connected every time and has not dropped on a run yet.  Would certainly consider switching brands if there was something better but so far have struck out with JayBird and Jabra...

  • I have this issue with these headphones even on my iPad Pro and iPhone 11. Putting them back in the case normally fixes it. I’ve never had that problem with AirPods with my iDevices.

Do your AirPods work with the 945?  The PowerBeats continue to work about the same with a fix by putting back in the case but now the volume control doesn't work on the ear piece.  Volume control works fine with my iPhone so it must be an issue with the watch?

  • Mine work ok with the watch, but the volume control on the powerbeats does not work. Have to control volume on the watch. Works fine on Mac and iPhone so definitely a bug. I'll report it. Suggest we all do the same.

  • I had a Fenix 6 Pro, but sent it back because the WHR was all over the place. Hoping to pick up a 945 which seems to be better received.. I never had a chance to try the AirPods with the Fenix.

I think the Fenix wasn’t responding to the volume adjust signal sent over Bluetooth to the watch, so the watch was just leaving the volume as-was. I assume this is a Bluetooth profile issue with the watch (it may not be reporting to the headphones that it can receive the volume adjust signal, but I’m no expert), and hopefully can be made right again.

  • can't regulate sound volume on my Powerbeats with the Spotify

On my earbuds, the volume control doesn’t  work but the other buttons do...   Reported as a bug to Garmin.   Disappointed in the response. They acknowledge that it doesn’t work but that the software is not designed to work with all equipment and will have limitations.  Poor response especially in light that the volume control has worked before...
