STUPID GARMIN PLASTIC TRASH

Have problem with mine 945 and edge530. Stupid Garmin. I have Garmin devices for 2000$ at home and they work as ***. HRM TRI disconnects from Edge 530 or 945, first 945 died in two days after purchase, Garmin Scale Index always show different numbers during one minute(also was replaced by the warranty. Ox sensor on 945 is turned off because it shows stupid numbers (moon phases or index Dow Jones). i had during 2 years about 4 HRM belts because they die in one day without even saying anything. You have to handle them like an ancient book-because they cost 100$. Aliexpress watch bands are more comfy and does not leave any problems on the skin and cost 3-8 usd vs Original 25-40 usd that are made of hard rubber.

i Was Your fan so long. Maybe i need to sell all Garmin devices in my home and to buy POLAR or SUUNTO or COROS.

  • Maybe you should do that and then you can stop shouting on this forum.

keep on buying expensive colour watches

  • That is exactly what we will keep on doing Relaxed

  • While the poster's tone is wrong and not the proper way to convey their frustration, neither is yours. Call it trolling the troll, whatever you want, but what you're stating here is you're a mindless consumer that'll buy anything and everything Garmin puts out no matter what the state of it is.

Defective line with apparent issues? Yep.
Sensors not working? Give me more!
Announced factory issued recalls? I'll take two watches, please!

Should the above poster went about airing his frustrations differently? Absolutely. But retorting that we'll keep on buying them blindly is equally wrong.

Also, speak for yourself. I don't have loyalty to ANY brand. The only reason I'm still using Garmin products is that they have a select amount of options and functions their competitors do not support (or only partially support). Should Polar/Sunnto/Coros/Google ever offer those same options; the only thing you'll see of me is the cartoonish outline of my person and the word "WOOSH!" in my wake.

    In Comic Sans, of course.

  • Just one comment to "Aliexpress watch bands are more comfy" - I bought there 2 different bands and both are too tough to wear. Very discomfortable , so they are in drawer now...Unamused

  • It is time of polar for you.

  • I'm glad that you understood the spirit of my answer. I am trolling the troll indeed, and I am very tired with people venting out on this forum.

This is not going to help them (they should contact customer service), it's not going to help people who are happy with the product, nor does it provide useful feedback to Garmin.

Am I loyal to Garmin? No, it's my first Garmin product. Do I think the product is perfect? Hell no. But I have been around, tried other brands, and for me, despite its imperfections, it's the best.

When comes the time of buying my next watch I will look around. But so far, despite its flaws, it's the best I've had.
