Forerunner 945 and Ftp test on a trainer?

Hello,

Tell me please if it is possible to do garmin ftp test with Forerunner 945 on a trainer? 

If course I have hr strap and a Power meter. 

I tried it twice and the test just doesn't start - watch goes to watchface.

Am I missing something? h

    Where are you getting the FTP test from? Are you using a third party training tool like Zwift or TrainerRoad, or is this directly on the 945?

    Also, please reference our support center link here on more information regarding FTP tests. You will be able to perform a dedicated test or have your device automatically predict this.

    I tried to do the test directly on my forerunner 945 (instructions etc) but at the same time my trainer is connected to tacx app on the mobile phone in order to control the resistance during the test.

    I've done the FTP test on a Concept2 BikeErg using the 945 without issues. I just connected the watch to the Power Meter on the PM5 monitor that comes with the BikeErg.
