Feedback for GPS 2.60

Hello,

Today I've updated GPS 2.60 on my FR945 (FW 3.30).

After a run, I noticed that the battery had dropped less than before the update of the GPS.
An activity is not very representative so I wanted to know if you notice the same thing on your side.

Has someone seen any change log? What has changed 2.50 -> 2.60?

Hi there!

Droped from 100% to 26% without any activity in a bit of 2 hours.

Charging the 945 right now to 100%. After that, I'll performance a soft reset and back to you with the results as soonest.

Charged to 100% and then I did a soft reset and till now the battery consumption after 6 hours is 3%, so now presume is OK. Suggest you once update your device to performance a soft reset. Thanks.

A short run yesterday showed which side of the road I was on as it usually does. Accuracy looks the same for me. GPS only.

Would you post some tracks from before and after? Statements by themselves contribute little. Some screenshots of s ride with a F6, Marq on opposite wrists and 945 on the handlebars.

That was zoomed in to 10m/cm. Not a lot wrong with that. And zoomed out to the full track and it's impossible to separate.

And in case you're interested in battery performance, it appears the Marq might have an issue bu the F6 and the 945 are acceptable. The F6 was using OHR so uses less than the 945 which was tracking a chest strap.

This is a great free service to compare gps files.

Download the gpx tracks from the Web version of garmin connect and drag the files into the browser with mygpsfiles.
