Garmin Pay lost it's setup

Hi, 

I won't use Garmin pay too often  In fact I setup it some months ago to have it on my wrist if needed. Today I accidentally checked whether it's working  but it lost the setup even in Garmin Connect.mobile. How can I use this feature if it is not reliably available . What are scenarios where I loose my setup? 

  • You were more intelligent than me : I wanted to buy some food mid run and I discovered the card was gone :-(

    And for some strange unknown (to me at least) reason when I try to put it back in garmin connect, I keep getting "Error There was an error on your device. Please try again." with the only choice being OK...

  • I am not sure if it is the same case but I had lost card setup when I did factory reset of my phone or change the phone connected to the watch. Despite I could see the card on the watch and PIN was working, I couldn't pay with that. The only way to recover the card on the watch was to re-setup the card.

  • Today I was able to put my card back again. So it's a great new :-)

    this happens to me ALL THE TIME 

    Either the card is unavailable and magically reappears after a few days or I get an even better message: 

    "Error: delete your card ending in XXX and readd it to your wallet".

    Or there's a third problem: even though everything /appears/ to be working fine when I enter the paying mode in the watch and get it close to terminal - nothing happens. Came back to normal after a few resets and reinstalls of Garmin Connect  - I have no idea what helped. It seems Garmin service guys have also no idea... 

    This comes to a grin conclusion: feature of this level of unstability is ... useless. If you never know if this is going to work, or you try and it does not work VERY frequently, you simply resign and pay with your phone instead. This never failed. 

  • Try to remove and add the card in Garmin Connect app. Reinstalling app won't help.
