  • Various other fixes and improvements

I am currently more excited with this line than the rest of the new features.

Finally the wifi can be switched off completely Clap tone1Clap tone1Clap tone1

And I also like the new red arrow pointing to the lap button when an activity section is waiting for the lap button to be finished. Previously it was different and was hard to remember what to press.

  • Thanks for the WiFi hint, I didnt notice it because before, the WiFI Control in the Control Menu was useless for me because it only started a sync, like the sync button. Now you can switch it on and off with it.

  • Once again, having real documentation on the update rather than some list of itmes would really help. As it is, helpful posts like this remind or make us aware of new/fixed features, but that's hardly the best way to disseminate this information.

You'd think Garmin would want to take credit for their hard work improving the watch  ..

  • indeed, would be good; for example in the sync quick control one can choose bluetooth or wifi with the down arrow; pretty cool, but if undocumented one won't know about it / use it...

  • You could choose before 3.3, but I don't know in wich version it was introduced. For sure it was available in the last beta. It only appears if wifi is on.

  • Okay so this is fully rolled out, yet my 945 did not receive the update?  I have my settings on "automatic" for software updates, so what can I do?  I'd rather not have to use Garmin Express.  I see no option within Garmin Connect mobile to push an update to the device.

  • Just go into WiFi, connect to WiFi, and it will download the update.  You should be prompted to install right away after it's done connecting/downloading.

  • That was the first thing that I tried.  Still on 2.8.

Earlier this morning I got prompted that Sensor Hub and Bluetooth updates were installed.  So I got excited thinking I'd finally get the new FW too, but no dice.

  • In fact, Garmin Connect says I'm "up to date" on SW 2.8.

So, I'm guessing that we're not "fully rolled out" yet.

  • If you have a APAC version it won’t update to 3.30. Hopefully you have the ROW version.
