Amazon music in Forerunner 945

Has anyone gotten Amazon music sync’d to your 945?

When I bring up the Amazon music and browse I don’t see anything.

how does one sync there music?

You must sync over Wifi at least every 15 days to keep using Amazon Music offline on the watch. I believe it is enforced by Amazon Music to prevent people continuing to use the service without an Amazon…

Dc rainmaker did a video on this. I haven’t played any yet but got part of my music synced. WiFi crashed and well caused problems. But have to be connected to wifi

You have to wait a bit after selecting "browse" as it tends to get hung up occasionally. Then it will immediately take you to a "premium amazon music" option which you have to scroll past and then to "my music" etc.

Works for me, I'm pleased i don't have to sign up for Spotify etc as I get amazon music (basic) free with Prime.

I do and it works well. I created a "For Garmin" online at Amazon and if I remember correctly, it was available on the watch to select to sync when setting up the Amazon music on the watch.

I tried it and it works. But with my headphones Jaybird Vista I noted that the audio quality was really bad. I downloaded on the watch some of my songs and the quality is very good. Maybe Amazon gives songs without too much compression not for the free (without fee) Prime version, but only for the other version where you have to pay?

Does the watch need to be on wifi or can I use the garmin connect mobile to sync the music?

Not for me. I connected the watch to wifi, on the first launch I got an error that GCM wasn’t running on the phone. So I brought up GCM tried to sync. Nothing, exited GCM exit the Amazon app on watch ran Amazon app on watch and it doesn’t find anything. Left it there for a good 1/2 hour browsing occasionally still nothing. I’m running the beta of FR945. Might be the problem?

Could be, I'm not on beta and it all worked pretty well for me. I think it got hung up on a page one time but otherwise worked pretty well.

If someone could tell me how to do podcasts via Amazon Music I'd be a happy camper. Doesn't seem possible.

If you go to amazon music via web browser do you see your garmin watch? I see my iPhone but no garmin watch.
