forerunner 945 keep crashing and restarting in the middle of an activity

Happening in increasing frequency, my watch crashes during an activity (cycling and other) and reboots, sometimes losing all data. At least once it would not restart and stayed dead until plugged in, despite being above 52% battery.

Happening to me with Fenix 2 long long time ago. Very annoying. Then 935 triangle of death. But no problem with 945 (bought in "pre-order").

I have tried factory reset and updates and no improvements have been noted. In fact, it appears to be getting worse and now crashes on average 3 or 4 times per day. Sometimes it reboots during no activity. Also, sometimes the screen just turns all black and the green pulse light stays on. In these cases it takes approximately 2 minutes of holding the power button to have it restart.

What's it like when the battery is fully charged? My old phone used to act not dissimilar to this, as soon as the battery got below @60% during anything battery intensive then it would crash. Turned out to be a goosed battery.

Sounds like a battery wiring/contact issue - especially if the "crash" (or rather sudden power off, perhaps) is during movement and vibration. Warrany fun I guess ...
