My new Garmin Forerunner 945 Backlight is not working

My new Garmin Forerunner 945 Backlight is not working, Have tried the setup for during activity and no activity still does not come up.. even the light button does not work.. Any help..?

If something is new and not working, return it.

The same thing is happening to my Forerunner 35, It hasn't worked since day one, can someone from Garmin support please advise if it is a firmware upgrade that is required or if there is anything else that we can try?

Most likely you will be sent a refurbished replacement unit to fix your issue.
