Pool swimming activity location saves the location where the activity ended, not where it began

After I finished my lap swimming this morning, I couldn't save the activity at the pool (because it didn't pick up the HRM-Swim sensor). I was able to save it when I got home. The activity now shows my home address and not the gym's. No big thing at all, just wanted to memorialize this.

It’s something new that has just come about. For some reason GC is now showing location information, albeit home location, after pool swimming. I’ve reported this back to Garmin.

FWIW, it’s nothing to do with where you start or finish AFAIK. Mine came up when I looked at the results on my office computer.

Same here. All my pool swimming activities now show a strange location in the GC. Even older activities like 2016 and 2018

Odd - my pool swimming sessions from my FR945 do not show a map/location on the GC web.

Maybe it was a temporary glitch - is it still there for you?
