no DEM elevation available

Today i tried to adjust the altimeter with DEM and the watch says: no DEM elevation available. whay is that and how to fix it?

The DEM uses a map of world elevations. So, you could try connecting the watch to a computer with Garmin Connect and hopefully the maps will be updated.

with garmin conect or garmin express?

Express. On a PC (or Mac).
