So far the Beta SW 3.08 works for me!

I downloaded the beta software yesterday right after it was available and installed it, rebooted a couple times and did a reset and went to bed.

Synced this morning after entering my weight into Connect and let the watch charge a few minutes and headed out to a local arboretum for a walk with my puppy!

We walked a little over 5.25 miles in about 1-3/4 hrs and the battery was showing 83% by the time we were finished. I used the Bluetooth speaker the whole time listening to music and looking at the map a few times along the way. It had been a while since using the music on the watch and thought that my battery was dropping too quick until I looked at the specs and I see it's right in the normal range. (And all my buttons click)

So far, so good....

  • It is only a small incremental update, it should continue to work :). For me I was running for a little over 6 hours with map view open most of the time, and listening to podcasts all the time. Battery showed to have about 20% left when I was done, similar to your experience I see a little more than 10% loss per hour when going with music.

  • It's not that small. As the version number states it's a major update (v2.X to v3.X). I guess PacePro is the huge thing in here.
