  3. In Forerunner945_308Beta, go to the RemoteSW folder. Place the GUP3114.GCD and GUP3303.GCD file in the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder of your device's internal storage drive.
  4. Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish.

NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.
  • Do we know when the stable update will be available?

  • When the bugs are ironed out of the beta ?!

  • If you are at a heart rate below your lowest HR Zone, it will show all the way to the left and outside of the gauge.

  • It reappered a bug that was solved in previous firmware: with backlight set to 8 seconds, when starting a run activity the backlight stay on till when the watch finds a gps fix

  • I experience the exact same thing. The OHR is quite accurate when cycling IF I'm recording the activity. If not recording, the OHR is way off. Just had my Rev C replaced with a Rev D because of button issues, no change on the OHR problem.

  • Enjoying the 6 fields screen (finally!!!).

Yet, yesterday, while riding and using the watch its screen froze.

No button was working to change this except from lond press on the power button to have it reset.

Apparently it continued to record even when the screen was frozen, as I noticed it ~40min after it was stuck and got all the milage and climb I did completely.

Except from the firmware update, no other update was done for the watch (watchfaces, widgets and so on).

  • yesterday i made a run with connected BLT headphones, finished run and pressed stop, then headphones disconnected and it looks like BLT on watch was dead, restarted watch, restarted mobile phone, no change, the pairing wasn't possible, after a hard reset of the watch the pairing went OK!

  • For me not works correctly.

Every day when I wake up can't connect with mobile phone

  • @Garmin-Blake do you know if the OHR is still a thing in development for now?  I ask because for me (and some others in this forum) the OHR went south when you introduced the swimOHR.

Also this beta-version (which offers some nice improvement like the 6-fields screen. thumbs up for that) does not solve this problem for me. I can no longer use the OHR at all. It's just plain wrong ALL time.  I gave it a try during a 6h trail-run again and it never showed any value which was even closely correct. (e.g. on >20% inclines it showed 120HR and on smooth and relaxed downhills I got values even higher than my maxHR).

Before the OHRs of several Garmin-watches worked really good for me. The OHR of my Fenix 5+ still does, so I know how to wear a watch with OHR. I'm doing it for years and it worked for several years pretty good. But with the current 945 it's just garbage.
