Kayak vs Row Apps

Can anyone tell me the difference between the "Kayak" and the "Row" apps that are pre-installed on my 945?

Both use GPS so they're outdoor, and both seem to track stroke rate...

And further, is there anywhere that actually shows detail into the pre-installed apps like this?  They don't show up at the Connect IQ store below:

  • Mostly a joke - but indoor kayaking is a thing.  There is a sport that developed out off season slalom training.  It is called Canoe Polo (or in the US - Kayak Polo).  It is bigger in Europe, but there are a handful of teams in the US, and we have nationals, and a world cup team.  It uses a water polo ball, and has rules that probably were adapted from water polo, basketball and soccer.  You are allowed to tackle the player in possession of the ball - and it can turn into a bit of a contact sport (I recall bleeding during a lot of practice seasons - abet maybe we were playing a bit of street ball).  In all fairness, there are a lot of safety rules (such as shape of the ends of the boats, required boat padding, thickness of paddle blades...), but contacts happen - and getting fingers wacked with a 1/2" thick paddle blade still hurts.  Remember, its only illegal if the ref catches you.
