Physio trueup or physio lieup?

Sorry for the irony, posted same thing in Vivosmart forum without replies...

The body battery is not syncing between my Forerunner 945 and Vimosmart 4, how is this possible?

I had a Vivomove HR and bought precisely the VS4 for the Body battery feature, what's the point of all the Physio TrueUp stuff then??

Here the Body battery "stimated" (green) for the period of the 5K i did this morning, rest comes from VS4.

  • I don’t believe body battery is part of TrueUp unfortunately. It should be, in my opinion, but right now I’m sure it’s not.

Because you didn't RTFM before buying / posting?

  • Thanks for the link (i guess) but that doesn't interfere with the nonsense of not getting syn of body battery.

You could just as well ask why TrueUp doesn't sync watch faces, alarm settings, your cheese preferences etc as well. The simple fact is it clearly states it only does the following:

"you’ll be able to sync your VO2 max, recovery time, training status and training load data among devices along with your activities"

The fact that you want something that changes from minute to minute over a 24 hour period to sync via TrueUp is nothing more than a wish. instead of posting rants why not contact Garmin support and suggest the feature for possible future release?

I'm not so sure txepe was on a rant as you say. It was a legitimate question. It's data that's recorded on the watch that can be transferred between devices. It doesn't have to do with body battery changing. Most of what physio true up transfers can change throughout the day also. As you suggested, a request can be submitted to add body battery, but it's far from being just a wish.

  • Steps are being synced too by TrueUp (and they also change a lot during the day). So i'd expect Body Battery to sync as well.

"you’ll be able to sync your VO2 max, recovery time, training status and training load data among devices along with your activities"

This refers to Physio TrueUp, not the original TrueUp function.

  • Body battery is not part of Physio True Up, Body Battery only comes from your so defined "Main Fitness Tracker", if you want Body Battery during your exercise you have to wear both devices, your main Fitness Tracker device (Vivosmart 4) and your device for workouts (FR945).

as example, during my bike workouts i record with Edge 830, during the bike workout i wear my FR945 where i get Body Battery and Intensity Minutes without starting a workout on FR945

  • Body battery is calculated from Stress, sleep, HRV of heart rate....well, all of this IS synced between devices, so why is not synced body battery?

Body Battery only comes from your so defined "Main Fitness Tracker"

And still if i wear both devices i get different readings of body battery from both.

  • Set as Preferred Activity Tracker

....Sets this device to be your primary activity tracking device when more than one device is connected to the app......

what is your primary activity tracking device?
