Does popularity routing work with non-Garmin maps?
Swithering whether to buy the Garmin maps or use a third party site.

It might be, why don't you test it and report back? You can have both the garmin map and a third party map on the watch simultanously, and switch back and forth and retry navigating to different places.
I'm checking before moving from the F5 to the 945 so can't try it.
